Congratulations Yvette & Patrick!

Exactly two weeks ago, I kicked off my 2008 wedding season with Yvette and Patrick!

Their wedding was memorable in alot of ways, which are detailed below (and in the photographs).

Yvette wanted a winter wedding, which showed in alot of details of the wedding. One of them was the color red. Not only were the bridesmaids dresses red, but Yvette’s wedding gown made some amazing use of the color. This is rare to see on brides in the USA, but very popular throughout other parts of the world.

I love this photograph of Patrick laughing as he made the best man believe he stabbed him with a pin as he put his boutonniere on.

This was my first time at The Addison Park. A beautiful location for a wedding and portraits!

Another great detail from their wedding reception that not only shows their unique reception drink, but also where they first met.

The next two photographs have a funny story. When the bride and grooms first dance is almost over, the bridal party joins them occasionally. But for Yvette and Patrick, that is not enough. They had a surprise for all their guests! A coreographed dance routine with the entire bridal party to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’!
