It has been a while since I wrote a post about a movie or anything music related. So, I will be writing every Monday about a band, song or movie. Music and movies are two of my favorite things besides my wife, kids, photography, the outdoors and hockey.
With summer upon us and the scorching heat, I’ll start off with Less Than Jake. I remember my roommate in college, coincidentally named Jake, introducing me to them with their CD ‘Losing Streak’. They are probably the band I have seen the most and look forward to their new CD in a few weeks. Grab a beer and listen to some ‘happy’ music!

Hey, yeah, they got their name for Vinnie’s dog, Jake. His parents treated Jake really well, including cooking him special food and they even had a special part of the couch reserved for him. So anything that wasn’t perfect, was “less than Jake.”
