Portrait of the day – A little inspiration from Richard Avedon

I am sure that I am not alone as a photographer who greatly admires Richard Avedon! I used his inspiration a few years ago at a wedding where my clients matched up perfectly for me to photograph some unique wedding portraits.

Ever since moving into our Elmwood Park wedding and portrait photography studio, I noticed that the alley beside the studio provided the perfect light to creat portraits inspired by Avedon. My wife and kids came by the studio the other day as we need to get portrait of our son for his passport. It was the perfect chance to create a unique set of family portraits!
