Last week I headed up to the beautiful Florentine Gardens for Chris and Ellen’s wedding! With a reception hall like the Estate at Florentine Gardens, it makes my job as a wedding photographer very easy! They have lovely grounds for portraits and the ceremony, as well an amazing room for their reception.
Chris and Ellen are exactly my type of clients, easy going, fun and very much in love with each other! From arriving at Ellen’s parents house until the last song, you can see how excited they were to be sharing the rest of their lives with each other!
One of my favorite photographs of the day came toward the end of the night. I always try to take couples out for some night portraits after dinner. For Ellen and Chris, this was actually something that they made sure I did! When I saw how beautiful their reception room was lit up at night, I knew that it would be a perfect backdrop!

Ellen told me she picked you as a photographer because she thought your photography was more artistic than most. When you arrived at the house, you just allowed all the normal excitement to go on. As you wondered around, I never realized you were photographing parts of our home which are part of who Ellen is. You were a pleasure to work with. Thank you for the beautiful memories of our daughter’s wedding to Chris.

Chris and I just got back from our honeymoon (which was fantastic). We kept talking about how great you were and how excited we were to see the photos when we got back. You did not disappoint!! Thank you for being so relaxed yet helpful, it made the whole day so much better. The photos look beautiful… I can’t wait for the album and to order prints!! Thanks for everything.
