We first worked together during their engagement session at Grand Central Station. Then we had a great time together at their winter wedding 2 years ago.

Now, they have a beautiful 1 year old girl, Madalynn! They all came into the studio recently for not only some 1st birthday cake photographs, but family portraits.

I used his inspiration a few years ago at a wedding where my clients matched up perfectly for me to photograph some unique wedding portraits.

Ever since moving into our Elmwood Park wedding and portrait photography studio, I noticed that the alley beside the studio provided the perfect light to creat portraits inspired by Avedon. My wife and kids came by the studio the other day as we need to get portrait of our son for his passport. It was the perfect chance to create a unique set of family portraits!

For this session, it was a mother with her two children, just her two children and solo portraits of each child. But I love the feeling from the below photograph. I know as they get older, they will remember their childhood bond as brother and sister.

It was my 2nd time photographing the Boyd family. I love it when families come back for more sessions!

The below photograph brings out a lot of emotion for me. A young child holding on to his parents, who he looks up to and who he depends on. Parents holding on to their young son who is growing up so fast.
