I’ve had a tough time choosing my favorite of the day as I LOVE the photo below in both color and B&W, for different reasons. Which one do you prefer?

I knew from our engagment session that Chris was a huge Pearl Jam fan. But when I heard a Pearl Jam song played by the pianist as the processional was happening, was amazing. So, I used the song the pianist play in the slideshow below! I actually went through the entire Pearl Jam song catalog to find a song for the slideshow. I only came across 2 songs that are good for wedding slideshows. Can you guess the other? I may use it for a wedding coming up this fall.

One of my favorite times to photograph a wedding is the last 1/2 hour of the reception. The stress from a wedding day (looking great, talking to everyone, etc.) are long gone for the bride and groom, as well as everyone else. So everyone really lets loose on the dance floor. At Chris and Victoria’s wedding, there certainly was not shortage of dancing! But I love the below image for the dancing, impromptu kiss and the fact that they are surrounded by the most important people of their life, family and friends. Doesn’t this photograph make you “happy”?

We had beautiful memorial day weekend weather for the wedding day. Despite a brief bit of rain, which actually helped create some amazing portraits of both Allison and Jack under an umbrella, they day was filled with a lot of laughter, smiles and joy! And the reception was non-stop with dancing!

My favorite photograph from the day came when we were about to begin some portraits out from of the Skylands Manor. Allison and Jack wanted a few photos with their Rolls Royce. For me, this photo shows the connection between Allison and Jack and a timeless feel with the B&W/Rolls Royce!

Chris and Ellen are exactly my type of clients, easy going, fun and very much in love with each other! From arriving at Ellen’s parents house until the last song, you can see how excited they were to be sharing the rest of their lives with each other!

One of my favorite photographs of the day came toward the end of the night. I always try to take couples out for some night portraits after dinner. For Ellen and Chris, this was actually something that they made sure I did! When I saw how beautiful their reception room was lit up at night, I knew that it would be a perfect backdrop!

The weather turned out as every bride would wish for! Amazing clients and their families, wonderful setting and delicious food all made for a great day! And the music? Well that was an easy choice for Megan and Jason. Megan’s brother is Paul from DTM Productions. He, along with Jeff and their crew, really got the party alive and moving!

Before the slideshow, my favorite photograph from the day came during their first dance. The conservatory of The Brownstone along with the DJ lights helped me capture a perfect moment!

Being a wedding photogapher in New Jersey, I’m fortunate to travel to a variety of reception sites. I have been to Il Tulipano in Cedar Grove before. But between the fantastic Melissa and Erika at Pampered Bride and everyone at Il Tulipano, it was truly a winter wonderland in Patricia and Greg’s reception room!

I started my day at the Hotel Beacon in NYC before making our way over to the Tavern on the Green. At the hotel, the mood of the day was set by the rock n roll music Larissa had playing!

A beautiful ceremony in the Crystal Room was a perfect setting for Larissa and Steven to become husband and wife. After a quick stroll around Central Park, the party began in the Rafters Room.

As a wedding photographer, the perfect ending was a limo ride from the Tavern on the Green to the The Plaza Luxury Hotel. I can only imagine it was the perfect place to spend their first night as a married couple!
